About us

Blackstone Technology Holding AG is a wholly owned subsidiary of Blackstone Resources AG. We are engaged in research and development of new 3D printing technologies for sustainable battery cells and their production. Our goal is to make renewable energy available with clean technology, always, everywhere and in abundance. So that people can lead healthy and productive lives today and in the future. Our location in Saxony gives us access to a distinctive research landscape, high-tech mechanical engineering companies and many strategic customers such as the automotive industry.

2022
With the purchase of approx. 16,500 m² of land at the site in Döbeln, we lay the foundation for the expansion of our factory facility there. By 2024, we will thus be able to realize the expansion of production capacity to 5 Gwh p.a. in two stages as planned.
2022
2021
We open Germany's first battery factory for 3D-printed lithium-ion cells. At our site in Döbeln, Saxony, we benefit from excellent infrastructure and proximity to important industry players such as the automotive industry. The same year sees the implementation of our water-based production process for NMC and LFP cathodes. Printed solid-state batteries are now also receiving proof of concept. Production of 3D-printed battery cells will begin in Döbeln at the end of the year.

2020
The first functional sample cell with 3D-printed electrodes is manufactured and tested. The screen printing process developed by Blackstone Technology has thus proven its worth. The search for a suitable location for series production of 3D-printed battery cells begins.
